  1. Solid win. Just need to see goaltending keep improving. Hopefully we’ll get beast mode goalies when it matters most.

  4. I’m starting to think that the biggest upgrade we could have is swapping Manson for someone else. Dude just ain’t cutting it anymore and Girard looks way worse too because of it.

    We would need someone who plays a similar game, but just better. Basically Josh Manson 5 years ago. Don’t rightly know who we could even target for that.

    If anyone has any knowledge of these players and whether they would fit as a Manson replacement, do comment:

    Connor Murphy, CHI, 31, 2 years left at 4.4M AAV
    Rasmus Andersson, CGY, 28, 2 years left at 4.55 AAV
    John Marino, UTA, 27, 3 years left at 4M AAV

    Noah Dobson or Erik Cernak would be amazing but also incredibly unrealistic. NYI wouldn’t want to trade Dobson in the first place, we don’t have the assets to pay for him and we most likely could not afford his upcoming raise next summer. And I would think Tampa would be completely unwilling to move Cernak too.

  5. Didn’t watch the game yesterday… sounds like the Avs dominated the cats despite the refs doing their best to tie it up. Gotta love that.

  6. Gotta admit, that game went way better than I expected it to. Man, I’d love to see Kylington stay at least kinda near that level of performance on average from here on out.

    Also, it’s pretty sweet to see the Moose being loose pretty much all season, so far. Noticeably better than last season, which, while still impressive, was a little bit of a slump for his standards. Ditto for Cale. Which says a lot about their crazy high ceilings. And meanwhile, MacK is still dominating the league, even with a tiny downturn over the past several games. This could add up to being a pretty special season.
