The first two images are his last two starts prior to this season
Cirelli is already halfway to his point total from last season in the first 19 games of the season
He is on pace for 91pts

Idk if he will sustain this pace but apart from injury it’s looking like a breakout year
He’s only 27 as well, which always surprises me because it feels like he’s been around forever, insane production out of him so far this year, if he keeps it up which I can definitely see him doing it’s going to make everybody so much better. Geekie looks like a stud playing next to him and it’s got so much to do with how well Cirelli is playing this year. He’s made some plays that made me stand up out of my seat for sure. You can say a lot about this team but they are damn fun to watch
I’d love to see the difference in time on ice. I’d bet the last two seasons he was averaging closer to 15-16 minutes whereas he’s currently around 19 and a half.
Everyone was wanting him traded a season or two ago smh
Cirelli even being a 60 point guy would be a huge boost to extending this teams cup window. You need two dominant lines to win a Cup imo and that level of play from Cirelli could anchor a second one.
If we can grab one more middle six forward at the deadline and then use the cap increase in the offseason to round out the bottom six and third pair we’ll be cooking.
I think it’s the line he’s on. I think he and Hagel match energy and you could literally throw any 3rd in there and they’ll excel.
My favorite line, by far, this year.
Cirelli has always been a workhorse. Seeing him get more icetime, makes me so happy. He’s definitely my favorite player
