Conny completely throwing out the 5 year rebuild plan he has brought into his gm tenureship and going all in like we have done every year up to him taking over.
Thankfully he watched it fail over and over.

Crosby could have easily chose not to re-sign in Pittsburgh but did. He’s a Penguin for life and a better than expected start to the season from Calgary certainly won’t change that.

There is some insane universe out there where Dubas decides he wants kadri instead of crosby and trades 1 for 1
I keep trying to type out a realistic scenario, but there isn’t one. Why is it every time there’s a superstar player that’s not available on a struggling team fans around the league think “MY TEAM IS THE ONE HE’D BE AVAILABLE FOR!!”
