More about the teams mental
We literally lost the game the minute the third started…our energy was zapped (we looked like fucking zombies out there) and then we missed like three shots and bam nuggets just pounced
This team has just been terrible mentally coming out of half’s, if it’s not the playoffs they just don’t care.
Been telling other posts here 3rd quarter is the problem
Im so sick of this shit
they should stay on court during half time because for whatever reason, every start of 3rd they are all lazy 😂
This team is unwatchable at times. 0 intensity, undisciplined, poor attention to details and not serious about playing winning basketball. It all starts with AD/LBJ’s energy and level of competitiveness. Ofc roster has glaring holes too.
Kobe and shaq were like that with Phil in the third quarter. I think it’s a Lakers thing.
Don’t want to sound like a doomer but I’ve seen enough of this season to know we aren’t winning the championship. Championship teams ALWAYS have a top 10 defense. We were a top defense in the bubble championship. We are nowhere close to that. Only way to fix that is making trades by the deadline but c’mon, does anyone really have faith in Pelinka? It’s tiring talking about the poor roster construction from this front office over and over.
Can anyone explain how the turnaround happened?
How does the team go from being 10 pts up to 23 down in a quarter an a half?
Normally I catch games after the fact. I’m too bummed to watch this one.
This team is just not that good. Beating injured teams was complete fool’s gold. The telling metrics are all on the defensive end, where the team ranks near last in almost every category. You won’t compete against top tier competition with the amount of defensive flaws this roster has.
Been like this most of the times. The start of a 3rd qtr we always comes out lazy
I’d have to watch the game again, but I suspect we’re probably not giving enough credit to Malone for halftime adjustments. Redick perhaps just learned something.
What’s crazy is I literally turned it off to put my kid to bed at the first screen shot and by the time I turned it back on it was almost exactly the second screenshot.
We also could hit anything in the 3rd
Should have kept Dalton in the starting lineup
This team just cannot beat the nuggets. Also I’ve thought this before the year even started but this simply isn’t a good team. Too many holes. I obviously hope for the best but I never saw us going too far
Westbrook’s motor >> Lebron. They went at it and Lebron won early but looked shot by the third. Mental mistakes, turnovers and lazy defense. Somehow, despite his mistakes, Westbrook just keeps up his intensity
They own us. We are their pets, just accept reality and move on.
This is effort not coaching. Can’t win when the other team’s players are hungry and yours are not. We need to care about every single quarter of the regular season and they flat out don’t night in and night out. Even on winning games this shows.
