It’s almost like you shouldn’t be basing your entire narrative on a 12-game sample size…
I haven’t been focusing on Scal and Drew commentary but do they also do this to opposing team? Like do they also single handingly focus on one player’s bad stats?
He was 7-27 (25.9%) from 3 before this game.
After the game he’s now 34.3% and he’s a career 36% 3 point shooter.
Trying to draw meaningful conclusions from a small sample size is dumb.
He had clearly studied the shot charts in order to sound like a genius when he disparaged Jaylen Brown to his home listeners. Can’t say he didn’t d his homework. Only problem is that like every Top 15 player in the league, Brown has the ability to get super hot and dominate a stretch of basketball at certain times. Announcer was acting like Brown was Jaden Springer out there.
Listen, JB absolutely can be a streaky shooter.
But none of them dumb ass charts and graphs gon measure that massive 🐶in him. He won ECF and Finals MVP last year for a reason. Goofies …
Just another example of the Celtics hate being so strong that they will latch onto anything to try to tear them down even when it is idiotic. Yeah, give the Finals MVP open looks because he is shooting slightly below average in a tiny sample size (playing through and returning from injury).
