Honoring Jim Neilson’s Legacy at Big River First Nation | NHL UNITES
The inaugural Jim Neilson Cultural Exchange program was created to honor of former NHL all-star defenseman, recognizing the legacy of the work he did to promote unity through hockey. The program brought New York City kids to Saskatchewan to play hockey with kids from Big River First Nation and learn about their traditions and Jim’s legacy with the New York Rangers.
