  1. Gabe's only problem is his lack of size and weight. His skill with the puck on his stick is very good. Solid playmaker and has a good future if he can stay healthy. Rangers need more of these defensive defensemen that're more defensive minded. So I like there mindset already and Marc Stall will teach these kids how to play defense the right way.

  3. Keep the prospect reports coming! I think Perrault turns pro next year, but I think the Rangers should definitely consider moving him to center because of his elite playmaking skills. Also an important position the Rangers need to upgrade going forward. Jess Rubinstein thinks Noah Laba is a better prospect than Perrault! I don't know about that, but another good center prospect which rocks. Championship teams are built down the middle with good centers & defensemen. I'm probably an outlier, but I lean toward D-men who can play defense first & if they can contribute offense too that's good. Fortescue is described as a guy who wins puck battles along the boards. I want at least 4 of my 6 to possess this skill. The other two can be offensive wizards like Fox is. It helps if they can defend well too. Glad to see Berard is up. Othmann is injured, but he had 5 points in only three games. Rookies rarely wow right off the bat, but they need to learn the NHL game & that happens when they play NHL games.
