In terms of impact on the game and winning, Castle is so clearly the best rookie. You hear it from everyone’s comments on him after playing him.
He’s gonna be a legend.
Imo he’s the only rookie who doesn’t look like a rookie — physically, offensively, defensively, confidence, decisionmaking. The whole bit.
If I’d never seen him before, and you told me he was 25 and had been in the league for 3 years, I’d believe you. Because that’s the kind of poise he plays with already.
If they leave him in the starting lineup he’ll absolutely have a shot at ROTY. His shooting appears to be coming around, that’s all it’s gonna take.
This doesn’t look like some streak either. He is constantly improving so I don’t see anyone stopping him from reaching #1
