  1. Dear Jake…Why isnt Atlanta doing what LA and offering contracts with Deferred Money? That way we can acquire a big star…Or rather Retain our own…Freeman, Swanson, etc…and stay Under the Luxury Tax

  3. I say we say to hell with it, lol, and throw the bank to keep Fried and pick up a solid LF, and scare the luxury tax penalties. It’s time. We need to cut this nonsense and make the commitment to be good enough to go DEEP in the playoffs. Not saying we should be like LA, but we need to be top 5 in payroll.

  9. I don’t agree about Max Fried not need to come back to Atlanta with them signing Sneed. I don’t think the Dodgers are gonna be in on Fried. I do not see Max Fried signing with the Red Sox. I think they’re just using the Red Sox to build up his price once we all know he wants to be closer to his family, but if he’s gonna stay in the East Coast, he’s gonna win with the team he knows win World Series can be competitive team that has a chance back the Red Sox are still not that level yet Braves for a five year deal with like 160 and I brought this up before if they’re not gonna be bringing him back after this year Iglesias and they’re not gonna bring back after this year ozuna that’s $31 million that would be coming off the book next year you can get you could probably convince Max to take a portion off of what he would get per year the first year to bounce it out and you’re gonna clear those that 31 both those two getting off this year they’re off the books specially if you’re going to Murphy as a DH and let the kid take over full-time duty at catcher plus you gotta if Charlie Moore‘s not coming back you can get one little cheaper than a veteran free each and picture to be the back of the rotation that you mentioned and that’s an additional $10-$12 million. You’re not have to pay for a picture that you’re paid 20 million last year so you technically could pay about 35 a year furlough some of that for one cup over for your period and a little bit more over one year, give me a option certain innings during that period he will get back on the so that when Ozuna‘s and Iglesias come off the books that portion of money that we be paying them would would defer on the max contract because it would even out after this yearso the prices can’t afford to bring back is not really the case
