A delay would’ve pointed towards a change that at that point hadn’t been decided. By the time the decision was finalized, the presser was long over and Eberflus was informed.

   All of the context. The fact that there needed to be an hours long meeting is wild. And the fact that the meeting started when the press conference did is also crazy. Delaying his media availability would not have pointed at anything other than you delayed it a couple hours.
