Notre Dame QB is aight, and he just proved on that run he can hurdle a 5 gallon bucket

It was puke inducing watching those scenes on hard knocks where flus was trying to mentor caleb. Like this dude should not be anywhere near our future QB. I wasn’t convinced caleb actually respected flus’ opinions in those clips. Like he knew flus was a lame duck.

Most wholesome thing on this team has been Kmet indoctrinating Caleb into Chicago culture, taking him to Wrigleyville and chanting Green Bay Sucks in Old Crow over the summer was legendary

People have been clowning us constantly about the whole thing with us drafting new QBs and then immediately firing the head coach, and rightfully so. And it’s such a typical bears thing to be like aw no trust me we’re gonna be good next year. But it really does seem like we have the core players locked in for success. Baring any trades or injuries, we have Caleb Williams, Cole Komet, DJ Moore, Jaylon Johnson, Rome Odunze, and Montez Sweat locked in for 4+ years.
Caleb and the rest of the core players seem a lot more legit than what we had with Trubisky and Fields. Caleb is an actual LEGIT top prospect. Trubisky had no business being drafted #2 overall and Fields was like the 4th QB taken in his draft class. It’s the generic “trust me bro we’re gonna be good soon” but like, damn man we’re gonna be good soon dude trust me.

Speaking of this game, remember when a criticism of Caleb was that Miller Moss came in and lit up the bowl game so how good could Caleb be? Moss has since been benched.

I love this. Love Caleb, love Kmet, glad that they’re supporting one another. I really hope Thomas Brown proves himself. Personality wise he reminds me of Tomlin but he’s gotta win most of these next 5 games. Caleb is HIM
