Toni Breidinger Reflects on the Challenges Ahead

In a recent interview with SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, Breidinger shared her thoughts on what lies ahead as she steps into the NASCAR Truck Series full-time. She acknowledged that the series represents a significant leap from her previous experience, with higher levels of competition and more complex challenges.

“I mean, obviously trucks is that next step up, so there’s going to be a learning curve to it. But I feel like running Daytona this year in the Truck Series, and the few starts I made last year, I kind of was able to get a feel for what to expect for next season if I were to run it full time,” Breidinger said, noting how her limited experience has already prepared her for the road ahead.

 A Career-Defining Moment

This transition to a full-time NASCAR Truck Series driver marks a pivotal moment in Breidinger’s career. As she embarks on this new chapter, she will be racing alongside veteran drivers like Corey Heim and Tanner Gray, giving her valuable opportunities to learn from some of the best in the series.

“I’m really looking forward to being part of such an amazing team, and having the chance to learn from my teammates. I believe that the Truck Series will give me the opportunity to grow as a driver and make a significant impact,” she explained.

 Confidence and Preparation for Daytona

Breidinger expressed immense confidence in her preparation for the season, especially with the support she has received from her team and Toyota. She acknowledged the importance of the offseason in bridging the gap to the Truck Series level.

“Talking to Toyota and Tricon, they really made me feel confident that they could help me prepare and kind of break the gap to that learning curve in the offseason so I can feel super confident and ready to go once we hit for Daytona,” Breidinger shared.

She added that she plans to work hard this offseason to ensure she is fully prepared for the Fresh From Florida 250, stating, “I’m excited. I feel like I learned a lot this past season, and I think this offseason I’m going to be grinding hard to make sure I’m ready to go as soon as the season starts.”

 Building on Her ARCA Success

Breidinger’s successful stint in the ARCA Menards Series has positioned her well for this step up in competition. In 2024, she earned a career-best 11 top-10 finishes in ARCA, showcasing her potential to compete at higher levels in motorsports. As she makes the jump to the NASCAR Truck Series, her goal is to replicate that success and build on the momentum she has gained.

“I definitely know that the competition level is going to be steeper in the Truck Series. But I’m prepared to face those challenges head-on and continue to push myself,” she said.
