It is a low risk signing. I am not going to say high reward because he hasn't had positive impactful game in a couple of seasons. It doesn't mean he couldn't bring veteran savvy in situations where we don't have a lot of experienced guys playing because of injury. My expectations are low but it is hardly a risk, and their is no downside.
They need to see if Suh, or JJ Watt would be interested in chasing a ring. They could use some more D line help.

I too like this signing. There's still a ton of healthy talent on this defense, so all the Lions really need is players that can competently do what they need them to do. It would be great if they come in and excel beyond everyone's wildest expectations, but just being pretty good should be more than enough to make a difference and get the job done.

It's good that Jeff and Klotz like the signing, and Booner probably has an opinion, but who the hell cares, really? Well, besides Booner, of course. I'm joking, mostly, but in all seriousness, there is a voice that we haven't heard from in quite a while, and I for one think it's a travesty that this voice has been silenced for so long. I'm speaking, of course, of Klotz's butthole. I feel like Klotz's butthole had a decent take during their winded, but not long-winded, appearance on the show. Okay, I don't know why Klotz's flatulent faux pas popped back into my consciousness today, but it did, and so I thought I'd mention it again, y'all are welcome lol.
