Oh look, Toronto and Boston in the first round of the playoffs. Shocking.
Can’t wait to play another 7 game series with Toronto
Probably should have used point percentage as some teams have 3 more games played than others.
Leafs fans: “NO SHIT.”
Even though it is always a great matchup, if the Bruins played Toronto again this year it would feel really tiring. I really miss the old playoff format.
Vegas – Edmonton first round would be sick.
Surely the playoff picture should be based on points % due to varying games played.
Oh, the Bruins again. Must be the lowest betting odds.
Boston vs Toronto is inevitable.
Sigh
Can’t wait to hate my brother in law in LA for a couple weeks
I think it was Sekeras and Price (Vancouver Canucks radio) talking about this on one of their shows. Something like 70% of this is correct. Usually 3 teams will change out and at most 6 team. So average of 4.5 teams change out per year.
Kings fans are sweating bullets knowing LA v Edmonton round 4 is still a possibility
I hope my Avs will bounce back. I know injuries suck but we can’t miss the playoffs with the stars we have
*slams face against table*
Fuck
How do you do fellow playoff teams
west is lookin really fucking good. please stay that way.
It’s really weird seeing the Wild at the top of the conference. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen it before. The last time I remember them winning their division, much less a conference, was ’08. It’ll be interesting to see how long they can maintain that away game win percentage.
Has anyone else noticed that the Central is like a bloodsoaked battlefield?
Jets are looking stout. I know they’re trending a little down but I wouldn’t want to play them.
Wahoo flyers are in… so long as they don’t go on another yearly 10 game losing streak
I have no interest in facing Carolina first round. None.
Holy shit we’re actually still in it
Sens fan here, what is this “playoffs” you speak of?
I could easily see Dallas beat the jets in 4 or 5.
*post-AMERICAN Thanksgiving
I would love to see all four Western Canadian teams make the playoffs, even Calgary. Would be awesome to even have the possibility of an all Canadian final four in the West.
5 teams from the metro making the playoffs would be wild.

New playoff format is quickly growing stale
