…it's the documentary 'Fuelled By Passion: The Return of the Winnipeg Jets'. I've seen it as a blueprint for any city that's had a team wrongfully taken away to get their team back. Winnipeg did it, Atlanta's trying it for the Thrashers, Phoenix for the Coyotes…now I think it's Oakland's turn. Winnipeg set the blueprint in the NHL, now it's Oakland's turn to follow Winnipeg's example but for Major League Baseball.

The thing is, Gary is CONSTANTLY on Winnipeg’s ass every time the building isn’t at 110% capacity. Winnipeg constantly have to prove themselves, and right now, they are blessed with a good team that keeps the building full. These kinds of second-chance franchises (no matter how deserving Oakland is), are given a short leash. And in a baseball with no salary cap, we need a good ass owner.
