Taylor Fritz will look back on his 2024 season very fondly, with the American currently occupying a career-high ranking.
Fritz finished fourth in the ATP year-end rankings, having reached his first-ever Grand Slam final at the US Open.
The home supporters were desperate to see an American lift the trophy, but there was no shame in Fritz losing out to world number one Jannik Sinner.
Sinner then beat Fritz once more in the ATP Finals, with that journey in Turin capping off a superb season for the latter.
He clinched two titles throughout 2024, with the world number four finishing with a fantastic 53-23 record.

He is certainly helping bring US men’s tennis back on the map, helped by the likes of Ben Shelton, Tommy Paul and Frances Tiafoe.
Fritz, however, leads the charge, but that does mean American hopes will likely fall on his shoulders once more next season.
