Eagles schedule could change as the NFL eyes a couple of late-season flex opportunities (Cowboys game to 1 pm, Giants game to Saturday)

  1. Yeah, don’t be surprised if the Sunday 12/29 Cowboys/Eagles game flips time slots with Packers/Vikings (currently scheduled for 1 PM ET). It appears due to some new NFL TV rules related to divisional games and “home” networks for AFC and NFC teams (Fox in the NFC’s case) that neither game (or more specifically, Packers/Vikings) can be moved from Sunday afternoon on the 29th. (The first 2024 game in both pairs of matchups was televised on CBS.)

  2. I understand why the NFL wouldn’t want to do it but I was kinda hoping that the Vikings-Lions game in week 18 would be played before the Eagles-Giants

There is a chance that the result of that game will decide if the Eagles are locked into their seeding or they can move up which will affect if they team can rest some stars

  3. Fuck I hope they don’t change the cowboys game to 1pm. I’ll be traveling in from out of town and with a very likely chance of snow storm, gotta get up even earlier and less time tailgating!

  4. Think of us Schmucks that work till 5 on Sundays. Don’t flex to 1 P.M. for the weekend off normies!
