  1. Jon Runyan, ditry player: Bad

Sherman, a dirty player, arrested for DUI a few times, had domestic violence issues, and a total clown: Good

  2. Im surprised this video isnt getting disliked to hell considering all our fans are new Trevor Lawrence fans

  3. I think they change the slide mechanic altogether because it’s dumb when looking at it from player safety. You are dropping your head to the level that defenders are currently targeting for a regular tackle and sometimes the timing is messed up. They also always have trouble deciding where to mark the ball. For QBs they might just let them throw it OoB when they’re done running or something dumb like that to be safer

  4. He’s been talking about this exact thing for a while now. I think just two weeks ago he was saying he’s worried defensive players will start getting vilified for hard hits when that’s the whole point and then also when Brian Branch got ejected.

  5. Keep in mind. Richard Sherman is an ivy league college graduate. Glad to see players standing up for Azeez.

  6. Regarding the comment he made about fake sliding, that needs to either be penalized (will never happen) or the runner needs to be marked down where they did the fake slide (or fake motion out of bounds). If they can’t be hit when they start a slide, it doesn’t make sense that they can fake a slide, have a defender rightly assume they’re now an illegal target, then they just keep running while the defender’s pulled back? Nah, I’m not here for that.

  7. I get what Sherman is saying, but part of the issue is that Azeez IS playing old school. That shit doesn’t fly anymore. The damning angle to me is where you can see Azeez’s face, and his eyes are following Trevor’s movement down into the slide before Azeez even lifts his arm up for the hit.

I also agree with Brady as well, though and QBs need to take their safety in their own hands. One of the reasons he was able to play so long was avoiding unnecessary contact.

Lastly, the character assassination of Azeez by the media, the league, and fans is ridiculous and uncalled for.

  8. Now that the hype of the hit has died off, people are realizing that it was a clean tackle.

  9. Azeez did nothing wrong. Not a dirty player just stands on business. It could’ve been a lot worse. He didn’t lead with the crown of his helmet lead with the forearm. It wasn’t a late hit. Trevor was fighting for the first down Azeez was at the first down marker. It’s not like he came in flying outta nowhere.

He shouldn’t be suspended 3 games, fined sure go ahead but 3 games is crazy work.
