1. Hi, just wanted to share this here = TJ Friedl made our list of hitters who deserved better based on their “expected stats” in 2024.

   The article explains it a little bit, but the gist of it is that we (Sports Info Solutions) have our own version of expected stats based on – among other things- where you hit the ball and how hard you hit it (a little different than Baseball Savant methodology) and when we look at Friedl- his numbers should have been better … and the reason why was that defenses did a good job against him.

2. Seemed to me that he made alot of good contact, just hit alot of line drives straight at outfielders…. gotta find a way to get them in the gap

3. He kept getting thrown off by injury. Every time he started heating up it seemed like he went back on the 10 day.
