  1. If he wins us 2 playoff games I say we try to resign him. I’d even be ok with it if he won us just 1.just depends on what he’s asking for. He’ll prolly go get a bag somewhere else tho. We got JJ but it’s been fun watching Sam’s turnaround

  14. Can we get more raw moments of frustration? This team struggled hard in the first half and a major chunk of the second half. I want to hear some of the frustration and then the cathartic redemption. That way, the redemption is so much more satisfying. There’s an entire element of the story of this game that is lacking in this video. And as a result, Sam Donald being miked up is only 10 to 15% of the entire video. we need at least a taste of how the players were experiencing the majority of this game.

  15. People say Darnold will walk with a mega deal. I'm not so sure. If the Vikings want to keep him they'll forsure have to pay him, but I wonder if Darnold will prioritize staying with a team where he can succeed and is praised versus going to the Browns, Giants, maybe even back to the Jets and be immediately put into bad situations.

  27. you don't let Darnold resign anywhere next year. you give him a two-year deal MINIMUM and develop JJ under him. Especially if he maintains this play in the post season.

  28. Is it just me or did he sound like he was getting choked up at the end?

    I’ve watched Sam play for eight years and I’ve never seen him more hype than this year, and hearing him mic’d up during the game gives me goosebumps.

    It would’ve been really somethjng to hear/see the moments of candid frustration at the beginning juxtaposed with the elation of a comeback at the end.

    Everything feels like it’s come full circle for him; his rookie year when he was the youngest player on the Jets and Josh McCann was the oldest, Macon with Sam’s first mentor in the NFL. Now they have a player/coach relationship but I feel like they’re more equals now that Sam is older.

  35. Born in Breckenridge Minnesota I’ve been a Viking fans since birth iam 65, I have not been nice to Darnold skill set he took a big step up last wk against Arizona. Hope he keeps growing each wk .go vikes
