Minnesota Vikings QB JJ McCarthy’s Knee is “Ahead of Schedule” 👀👀👀

1. Tag and retain Darnold, while I think McCarthy will be good. No team has drafted a QB in the first round thinking they would not work out.

2. Sam's comeback is just proof that coaching matters way more than people think it does. I was not expecting a season this good, but it's a great surprise.

3. The Vikings should keep Sam Darnold in case if JJ McCarthy isn't ready for the lime light after his injury.

4. I worry when he has had 2 surgeries already, and hasn't taken a single snap. Doesn't matter how good he is, if he isn't able to play- see Sam Bradford. Hopefully I am just worried about nothing, and next year he blooms like a rose.

6. Question: Knowing what you know now about Sam Darnold, would you still have drafted JJ in last year's draft? Me? I would have drafted Byron Murphy or Jared Verse at 11.

9. Mullens had a good preseason. Wonder if their would be trade value for him? Teams just grabbing KOC's QBs.

10. We can’t spend 40M on a QB, we need to exploit this time, if JJ does not work out, QBs seem to want to come here. Just stack the room with cast offs.

11. I hope that JJ McC can see the field much better than Darnold once he takes over as our QB. Darnold's playing well but we all know he sometimes don't see receivers who were wide open on some plays. Last Sunday when he checked down to Jones and Jones fumbled, both JJ and Sherfeild were wide open on that play. Let's hope JJ McC have a better vision on the field.

12. We'll see if the new hair color requirement for Vike QBs translates into Jeromebardies.

13. How many rookie QB's can you name that have had the same or better years than Darnold has had this year. There are very few. If fans believe that McCarthy is going to have the same type of year Darnold has had this year, next year, they are a bit naive.

14. Too early to tell – the injection was effective I guess – edema down so he's ahead of schedule?…Let's check the schedule again in 60 days after the effects of the anti-inflamation injection wears off …

15. I'm starting to think the plan was to either fake an injury or find something to keep him on I.R for years so that the fans would not be chopping at the bit
