I never expected to say this, but I miss JVG spending 10 minutes straight talking about how he hates basketball. Only ESPN could replace him full-time with someone even worse.
She’s always been unbelievably biased towards her favorite players… Tatum, Embiid, Steph to name a few
made it a very difficult game to listen to. it was like she had money on the celtics

I honestly wonder why so many basketball commentators and personalities seem to honestly hate the game of basketball as a whole and are only homers. I can understand being a homer, but the game itself is fun! It’s strategic and watching good basketball is like watching a choreographed routine while an opposing side is trying to stop it and there’s few other things like it when it’s two teams that care going at it. I can even understand hating one team and loving the other, but you need to at least show appreciation for the game itself and so many national commentators only seem to care about the Celtics, Lakers, and Knicks and fuck everything else. She’s become almost a figurehead for it when she used to actually be decent.
Please go away Doris, perhaps look inside yourself and rediscover your love of the game and not just what might get the most engagement when you say it. You’ve become a clown.
