9. The QB figuring it out at the line is only half the battle. The scheme needs to have hot routes to counter it with receivers who know where to be. Falcons have a new OC. The system is new for everyone over on that side. That's a legit advantage for any defenses that come against them this season.

   Flores should do well against them this week.

11. I honestly WOULD be shocked if the Falcons won this game. Kirk physically cannot perform at the level he needs to in order to get around this Vikings defense. The only way the Falcons pull out a win is if they switch to Penix early enough in the game, and the Vikings not just crap the bed, but go full on diarrhea.

    Further, people keep talking about the Kirk Revenge Game. What about the Vikings Revenge Game? For all of the dollars that Kirk took from the team, preventing it from having the defensive pieces necessary for a proper run in 2022? Because that is what this particular defense represents: what it could have been had Kirk ever given a team friendly deal in his long NFL career.

    Nah fam, this has karma going one way, and one way only: towards Kirk. Not towards the Vikings, an organization that has been very good to him – even giving him the offensive pieces and coaches to completely turn around the narrative of his whole career. But one narrative piece needs to be, and will be, put to rest here with this one game: Kirk made too much money in his career. And this defense will prove it.

20. I disagree with your take about Kirk being able to read the Flores defense. In fact he hasn’t played against this defense in practice and the looks will not be similar to what he’s seen before. Yes I also agree he won’t be confused the whole game. But you’re underestimating the work that goes into Flores’ job. It’s literally his mission to switch up the game plan not only every year but every week and I haven’t mentioned the fact that the roster is totally different now. Sure Kirk’s got the skill set to read defenses and call pressures but he’s got no special advantage just because he played for us before. This is just a bad talking point created by media

21. I don't understand all the crying in the comments whenever they bring up kirk. If you are a true vikings fan, it should make you happy whenever we hear news that old kirko is doing bad. That means we, as a franchise, made the right choice, and that should make you feel good. Seems like most of you just want kirk to do good just so you can say that you were right and have you aha moment. I understand the support when he was on our team, but he's gone, so stop being soft.
