  1. Typical of these bozos who elect players to the HOF to induct Richie Allen AFTER he passed away. I mean, if hes a Hall of Famer today, he was a Hall of Famer 20 yrs ago.

  2. He didn’t have the numbers to be in? I mean you can rattle off several players more deserving than him. I just don’t get it. He didn’t even have 2,000 career hits. Players like Al Oliver are so much more deserving. Cobra was well deserved but Allen was not good enough in my eyes.

  3. Nice 👍🏼 loved watching him during my teens a true slugger of the era – him &; Reggie Jackson had the same swag with sunglasses and sll – next we need Steve Garvey induced dude was clutch ASF in big games only Reggie Jackson out did him mid 70s to very early 1980s – plus he was the first write in all-star & MVP of the game – challenged Lou Gehrig's record – Mr Clean with Popeye forearms

  4. Anytime your slugging percentage, OPS plus and on base percentage are ahead of Mays and Aaron from 64-76, you deserve it! Today racism is defeated!

Writers were tough on Allen and I don’t believe they should have voting privileges regarding who gets in.
