Call-up was just ti get him practicing with Andy Ness and see what issues he really does have. Sending him down to get him playing now. Nothing crazy here
welp. time to see if all the opinions of columbus media that the entire reason he was traded was because he was being a baby about playing in the AHL are true or not.
I thought Russo mentioned this earlier: the plan was to call him up initially to work with the Minnesota coaching staff for a bit, then send him down to get significant ice time.
How do you fellas have your favorite player/team under your name?
Interesting. Wonder how long before he is called up. I really didn’t like the trade for what we gave up but am keeping an open mind.

I guess they want him to get a lot of ice time in IA versus being scratched or playing 10 min a night
Nope, totally makes sense to move him to get him actually playing.
