  1. Glad to see Parker in the HOF! Watching these old clips makes me realize how much better the fields are maintained now. Back in the 70s and 80s some fields looked like they had just hosted a rodeo the night before the game.

  2. Dude was the best player in the entire game during his prime years. How many players can say that? Truth is, when he finally signed a contract commensurate with his talents, making him the FIRST player in the history of MLB to sign a million dollar contract, jealous baseball writers largely resented it, and Parker caught a lot of 'attitude' from many baseball writers – this is without a doubt part of the reason he wasn't in the Hall.

  3. I never seen Richard Allen play.
I only caught Dave Parker at the end of his career with the Angels and Brewers.

I'm so happy I got to watch these fantastic and emotional
(in my case) tribute for these two baseball legends and ambassadors.

Congratulations, it makes me happy to see them enshrined.

I will always believe that God loves America, it's people, and his second favorite sport.

    Wrestling being first.

  4. About freaking time!! Jim Rice was elected 2008-09 and Parker had more hits + 400,RBIs +300,More Runs Total Bases,PO and Assists. 3- time Gold glove and 3- Times Silver Slugger. Dave was a 5- tool player. He could run well for such a large man 6’5 ,230.
