Dont care about the social politics of it, but Wizards should sign Kenneth Lofton Jr.. he literally free Talent, which the team desperately need, but without giving up Picks and Trade Capital.

what social politics
Yeah, what social politics? And who are we dropping to pick him up /u/knighthonor?

He’s been on three different teams already in the NBA and they seem to not want him, four if you count the Bulls that had him as a camp body? Maybe he has an attitude problem, maybe he just wants to be this fat novelty act and play in China.
But there’s something wrong with him in that all those teams, and the rest of the teams in the NBA don’t believe in him and want to sign him to anything meaningful. NBA teams probably don’t want a bucket getter that eats possessions and takes bad shots that also can’t defend or get up and down the court, he doesn’t get meaningful minutes, don’t get tricked by the stats.
If he gets into shape sure. Otherwise, what do you think we can do that 4 other teams couldn’t ?
I hate these posts in all honesty. “We suck, so lets take player X who has a lower ceiling than half our roster, despite the fact they haven’t been able to develop in much better team environments”. It’s honestly just slinging shit to a wall and hoping something sticks.
OP, no we don’t need more ‘projects’ on this team. This is just a high-risk, low-reward type move that FO’s of the past used to regularly take, and its the kind of shit that got us in this clusterfuck to begin with.
>He’s a terrible defender and not a standout on offense either. There’s a reason nobody wants him and it doesn’t have to do with his appearance.
Not a standout on offense how? He gets rebounds and scores. He been very high level at that. Even Sarr been poor at Rebounding compared to KLJ career. And he still young. Point out what you talking about
