The Texans have blown a block or allowed a pressure on over 30% of their offensive plays.

  1. Damn we’re in last by a lot. I’m happy Green is back but he hasn’t shown that he can turn the OL around, just slow the leak

  2. We lead the league in both blown blocks and pressures allowed. The fact that we have a winging record with these stats is a testament to the defense. Our offense is completely crippled on run and pass with these stats. CJ Stroud sophomore slump is largely due to this, both directly and how it’s indirectly shaping his play and footwork.

  3. Caserio needs to overhaul the OL in the offseason starting with the Coach and whomever is in charge of scouting the position group because this team will forever struggle if they don’t fix this.

  4. This is on coaching, we definitely don’t have the worst talent in the league. Especially because last year was not this bad with almost the same personnel.

  5. What I’m trying to understand is how our oline’s performance is so bad despite the effort and money dedicated to it in the off season. And this is the result? The performance seems *worse* than the last season (would need to look at the numbers though). I truly don’t get it.

  6. I’m not surprised. Wasn’t there a stat out after like week 7 or 8 that said when the defense rushed 4 we give up pressure 54% of the time? That’s embarrassing and reflects simple 1 on 1 blocking being lost half the time.

  7. But i thought according to CJ the pro bowler, LT was the best tackle in the game 😂

  8. Wow 5% is a big jump. Surely our coaching staff sees these stats right? Like I know there wasn’t really a ton out there, but not trading for some sort of lineman was crazy to me. At the least to shake up the room. Just under how crazy it was we didn’t go grab nuk or Mike Williams for a 5th to replace Diggs. Not sold on this coaching staff, but I’m also a guy on a couch so
