They aiight…they have 3 more games played than the rest of the league and still sit behind the Big Flex known as the Capitals.
I actually predicted them to finish with 91pts, just squeaking into the playoffs as the 3rd seed in the Metro. Something I thought ppl overlooked was Markstrom's steady decline along with his age. He's defied my concerns thus far.
Definitely a contender. A proven top 3 team in the east this year. I think they can make a run, and I’m looking forward to a Stanley cup in the next few years.
There are three really good teams in the Metro, and two of them are going to have to face each other in the first round. That's going to be a brutal series. Of the three, I think the Devils have the smallest chance of winning the division and getting a much easier first round matchup against the Rangers, Bruins, or some other wildcard team.
How the hell are you not more popular
What is wrong with the defence the last two games? At this point they need Coach Orion
Rugloski also needs to go. This goalie issue is still existing as it has been since 2015. This has been long enough
Capitals haven’t really gotten cold yet (as far as I recall) so I think it’s likely they don’t win the division. Division winner will be between New Jersey and Carolina imo
You spoke of Sheldon
How successful was he with the leafs?
Just saying
I hope they do well
Devils fan here. Think they need more depth especially with injuries in their bottom six. Players like Mercer are also awaiting breakouts from their own slumps. Other than that they've got great structure, mentality, and honestly have been getting beat on the luck game for a good part of their losses.
Devils are legit. Their expected goals for and against numbers are both great and they have a lethal power play. Goaltending could be a little better but nothing to worry yet.
They’re a team forged by fire. Apart from shaky/inconsistent goaltending there’s not much to critique about, albeit the lack of a top 6 winger.
The devils just need health and a 4C and a winger that can put the puck in the back in the net that is a vet palat has been ok on the top line but jack and Bratt create so many chances and palat struggles to score
Devils surely is playoffs team and will be better in the standings vs last season.
As a devils fan this team still makes me nervous.. Definitely better then last year so far but surprisingly their scoring is what has me nervous..Theyve been shutout a handful of times already..They seem to dominate some games but still lose which is frustrating
Not last night lol
Awesome content! I'm subscribed! I did a full goalie breakdown and analysis of stolarz from last nights game if you are interested!
When they play a full 60 min game, they’re a contender. Late starts, not finishing checks, etc, will hurt them. Keefe was my favorite offseason signing. Add 1-2 pieces, top 6 winger, bottom 6 center, and look out!
Marky /Allen will NOT get us to the promise land. You can put money on that.
They're unfortunately stressing me out rn for the fact that these past 2 games they only scored 1 goal…
