I normally only do this for the Canucks subreddit, but I’ll do it for my other team too.

Also for those wondering how to read these cards, there’s a guide at the bottom of the card with markers indicating different aspects of gameplay. But I’ll try to explain it anyways and I can answer questions if you’re still confused but:

Left=negative performance/help for the team Right= positive performance/help for the team

This card indicates how each individual player positively impacted the team during gameplay and their own individual performance. So if their PK performance was positive for the team, it will go right, if it was negative it goes left.

Team defense/offense refers to how they affected their team’s offense/defense, so example the devils’ defense significantly improved while Kovacevic was on ice.

Individual defense/offense refers to how they individually played defensively/offensively. So for example, Bratt’s individual offense was extremely high during this game.

Hope this helps and makes sense.

  1. Just wanted to say I’m still so angry about that game, I can’t even watch the canucks. Fuck the leafs, fuck the amulets, fuck the refs, and I would say fuck Matthews hairline but it’s non existent.

  2. We were the better team in every phase except on the Power Play.

One of those weird games where both teams penalty kill looked better offensively than the pp unit they were facing

  3. I didn’t hate watching this game, the devils played good hockey, still got a point out of it, and we’re still in a good place for the season. It’s the shutout losses I hate, I just want them to consistently play well not consistently win

  4. This was a weird game. Devils had so much control, speed, and offense, but I thought that the Leafs defense actually did a pretty good job of preventing the Devils from getting *clean* looks.
