  1. How many records did this lineup set 2 years ago? Keeping up with the Jonses (or Cohens) would only hurt us in the long term. This team is good and i believe they know what their needs are

  2. Patience is key. Let teams spend big and then Alex will find us guys for what we want to pay, like he always does. I have faith. I believe a trade for a bat will be coming soon and we will sign a starter, a reliever, and an outfielder on one year deals later on. Maybe one of the pitchers can get a 2-3 year deal.

  3. Looks like aa found the utility guy and garbage innings pen spot he wants to start out with in the rule 5 draft. AA says he will spend but he is adding max cheap guys for low leverage spots. Maybe he will add a big dollar guy but I’m not convinced. We can win a lot of games as is but I look forward to seeing what AA will do.

  4. Roki Sasakis comments made it more promising that he isn’t set on west coast or north east like most Japanese imports. I’m not getting my hopes up but we at least may have a chance.

  5. If profar is only only 10-12m per I would be ok will signing him for a few years. Grishak, Kepler, and Austin Hays are cheap guys I like. Hyesong Kim, when posted from Korea, is a guy I like as well. He’s our best option for an Arcia upgrade.

  6. Buehler is going to be really good next year, he is my number one want as for pitching after roki. I would be ok with a couple of years at 10-15 per.

  7. If we were to do a blockbuster trade with the cubs and get Horner and sasaki what would the cost be? Would a package of pitchers like waldrep, hackenberg, elder, Hayden Harris and baumann get it done?

  8. Lot of 'ifs'. All of them are individually possible. On the other hand all of them ending up positive, probably highly unlikely. There are a lot of areas of concern with the current roster; corner outfielder, 4th & 5th starters, short stop, and a lack of bullpen and overall depth. The farm system is considered mediocre at best by most, although i believe it is improving at least with pitching prospects it remains very weak still when looking at position players.

Will I remain a Braves fan and follow the Braves and hope for the best? Yes, of course, I have followed them every year for the last 64 years. Been through some pretty dry decades. Am I optimistic about 2025? No, and I feel for good reason. But, I'm not a hater, love the team, just not optimistic about 2025.

I still believe after the news concerning Acuna's and Strider's recovery delays and the loss of Jimenez for most of the season has caused the Braves to approach 2025 as a long shot, making it a good year to get rid of the luxury tax burden. Which may be the best option.. I don't believe that to be the case, but there is a reasonable argument for it. But, if true, say it and defend it. Don't tell us there is no concern about the luxury tax and the additional recruiting penalties.

I foresee a lot of bargain basement hunting and the addition of low impact players added to the roster this winter. And Yes, I hope to be wrong,

  9. Would AJSS, Elder and David Fletcher (salary dump) be enough to get us Kyle Tucker? Then sign Ha-Seong Kim (curious what you think he would get). And a starting pitcher if we can. And maybe stay under the luxury tax still?

  10. Acuna not ready for season opener injury prone , Strider not ready for season opener, Lopez needs off time and injury prone, Albies injury prone, Kelenic and Arcia will strike out 80 percent of the time. Murphy 1 good half season since he has arrived and injury prone. Harris probably ok, Riley probably ok and Olson ok. Questions at Back up catcher, corner outfield, need 2 SP’s. Glad I am not AA and have to deal with all that. That is why he gets paid the big bucks
