9. I’m in the opposite boat. I think the better Sam plays, the less likely we keep him. Let’s be honest, if we didn’t have the cap space to get a few of the defenders we have, we’d by like a 500 team. Luckily this isn’t lost on the Vikings coaching or brass. The JJM era starts next year.

14. Yeah, I don't think anyone should be listening to Spielman anymore. Yes, he built a good roster for us while he's with the team, but his last few seasons were not great. Of course, his beef with Zimmer may have something to do with that but we moved on.

15. As for Darnold, here's my take. If/when Flores gets hired by another team as their new HC, he'll bring Darnold with him and hire one of our offensive staff to be the OC. Might be McCown or Phillips.
