2. The Horwitz trade will go down as the best move BC made while in Pittsburgh.

3. I don't understand how you think this Horowitz trade is an overpay. A borderline SP5 and two long range pitching prospects? For a guy who would have practically led the team in hitting last year? And you don't think he's a needle mover? Go ask the fans in Toronto if they think we overpaid for Horowitz. They loved him there.

9. I like the Horowitz trade. I just fear that he’s the “big” acquisition of this offseason. We still need a 3rd baseman who can hit. We need a SS, we need a 2nd baseman cause I’m not sold on Gonzalez. And we need a right fielder cause Jack Suwinski isn’t it. There are so many options out there. We can buy them all and still be a bottom 10 payroll team. Yet here we are, looking to trade Keller to trim payroll. I know it’s a yinzer take to point and laugh at nutting. But this pirates team with skenes is a couple pieces away from being an instant contender. Just have to spend. Go for joc Peterson. Go for Miguel Rojas or adames. Go get sought after guys! Pay if necessary! This window is only open for so long
