  4. Well the streak was going to end eventually, but that game was painful to watch. 12 shots on goal are you fucking kidding me? Kings slept their way through this one and it showed.

  5. Didn’t watch it but those stats are sad. That and missing a penalty shot and giving up a short handed goal. Yikes.

  6. You could tell the batteries were running low last game and well, they were dead tonight. Absolute no-show in this one, 10 SOG is not gonna get it done against any team.

  10. Devils were the better team and deserved the 2. I did think they got away with a pretty obvious pick on their first goal, but they are good and you need a full 60 vs a team like this. I also thought they hit the ice quite a bit, but you do see that from teams with great PPs. Kopi missing that pass to lead to the shorty late in the 3rd kinda encapsulates this one.

    Pretty solid defensive effort all the same, but just no danger at all, especially the 3rd and that’s no good.

  11. Well that was a terrible game

    Offense is really just not good enough to contend. I don’t hate having a balanced offense but if Byfield and Fiala don’t start producing more at the clip we need then we aren’t going anywhere. I really want to see them start to click, or even Blake get another top-6 forward (not that I trust him to make a good deal), because the defensive play is really great.

    Win streak over, can’t win ’em all but good lord the offense was just so awful

  12. Very low energy. Hopefully they can recharge and take advantage of the Rangers and their soap opera.

  13. Can’t win em all but that’s the kinda game where Byfield’s season becomes more apparent
