NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Western Michigan senior guard Addison West has been named a First Team All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation on Thursday night as part of the 34th annual Home Depot College Football Awards on ESPN.

West, who was also a First Team All-Mid-American Conference selection, started all 12 games for the Broncos this season, playing 11 at guard and one at center. He has started every single game since the 2022 season and has helped produce two 1,000-yard rushers in Sean Tyler (2022) and Jalen Buckley (2023). The Cary, Ill., native was rated the top guard in all of college football by Pro Football Focus and has not given up a sack all season.

With West in the interior, the Broncos produced the MAC’s top offense, averaging 29.4 points per game.

West is the first Walter Camp Football Foundation All-American since Chukwuma Okorafor (2017). He is now the fourth Walter Camp All-American selection, joining Okorafor, Corey Davis (2016), and Jordan White (2012). West is the only First Team selection in program history.

West and the Broncos are back in action on Saturday night, taking on South Alabama in the IS4S Salute to Veterans Bowl at 9 p.m.
