Unlucky? We got outplayed and it wasn't hard to see.
Utah got lucky we played like garbage maybe? like 2 shots during a 3 minute power play to open the 3rd, we couldn't even enter the zone. Mac getting picked off trying to pass through a seam got old. Unforced turnovers up the ass because it was just one of those nights the Avs couldn't handle the puck.
We like the channel, but don't misrepresent what happened last night as bad luck.
I'm getting frustrated with Mittelstadt. I thought his vision and puck handling would outweigh his weaknesses, especially with Colton and Nichushkin as line mates, but he is just weak and can't puck handle himself out ouf a puddle. Also, the Avs lack experience through their depth. Where is a Darren Helm? Where is a Zach Parise? Where is a Andrew Cogliano? Furthermore, Smith and Middleton are both a lesser versions of MacDermid. A player I did not particularly like but did what was expected. We can't have a 60% stacked team. At least management can focus on this now when the goalie situation is solved.
