Probably not as dire as it seems. Tucker will have a lot less protection in the lineup with the Cubs than he did with the Astros. Astros also have pretty a pretty top notch support staff, probably second to the Dodgers, that he’ll be losing.
Cubs also losing Paredes offsets some of the Tucker gain.
And they’ll only have him for one season more than likely. So sucks for 25, but they’ll be back to the drawing board next offseason.
Are the reds gonna do anything or we just expect Terry to come in and hit the ball for these guys? Like come on man this is pathetic

Kyle Tucker is really good, but this is a massive overpay for the Cubs for only one year.

This trade just drives home how imperative it is for the Reds to add a middle of the order bat to the lineup.
