>Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports within a broad-reaching piece on several Winter Meetings takeaways that the team is looking for a corner outfielder, with a likely preference to operate on the trade market.
It’s a shame that the just missed the chance to get an impact bat and glove for RF, in Kyle Tucker, and worse yet, he was traded to the Cubs.
I suppose they mean flea markets. Maybe a garage sale or two
Taylor Ward
They should be doing everything they can (within reason) to get Suzuki away from the Cubs now, even if they have to go through a third team like they did Horwitz.
He’s a perfect fit for them in terms of need, production, and contract.
Same would go for Bellinger if they can get the Cubs (or somebody else) to fund a little bit, but harder to see them taking on his whole contract. Suzuki’s is manageable for them.
They’re just waiting for the right time to strike, once all the decent options are gone.
Yea I bet
Corner outfield eh. Makes it sound new and cutting edge. But that’s two thirds of your outfield.
Let the dumpster diving commence.
They’re going to end up with Verdugo, and I’m going to have to go find another team to follow. God, I hate that guy.
