Looks Like Kasper was centering for Cat and Kane on 2nd line:

Rasmussen-Larkin-Raymond

DeBrincat-Kasper-Kane

Tarasenko-Compher-Copp

Velneo/Berggren-Motte-Fischer

Edvinsson-Seider

Chiarot-Petry

Gustafsson-Johansson/Holl

Husso/Lyon

  1. I dont know why they keep mixing the lines up its just hilarious to me like, its been 20+ games now if you cant find chemistry at this point you will never do it and mixing up the lines will not do anything.

Has anyone ever tried to do something by doing nothing?

  2. I just love how no matter how bad they play, Chiarot/Petry are always together and never dropped down to healthy scratches

  3. Ok, now take away Kane/debrincat and put Berggren with Kasper, and we might have something.

    First line:

    Debrincat – Larkin – Raymond.
    Berggren – Kasper – Kane
    Tarasenko – Compher – Rass
    Motte – Valeno – Fisher

  4. Tarasenko back to left wing I see. Good thing he’s playing with Copp and Compher, because he’s not going to produce much offense anyway.

  5. Didn’t Kasper/Kane/Tarasenko line seem to look pretty good in the games before Kane’s injury? Why are we not running that back.

  6. From what I remember Copps been more
Natural on the left and Senko on the right? Why the change?

  7. Put Berggren with Larkin and Raymond. Congrats, we figured out how to defend. But we forgot how to score. Load 2 lines instead of building balanced ones

  8. I cannot for the life of me understand why Berggren doesn’t get more ice time after showing the progress he has this year defensively, and also seemingly being the only depth scoring we have.

  9. Kane doesn’t deserve 2nd line. He’s played like shit and it seems semi-intentional. Scratch his ass. We played better with him out of the lineup. Fuck send his ass down to GR and see how his salty ass likes that

  10. Same shit as always. Completely unwilling to try radical things like keeping our best line together, or putting our younger high hockey IQ playmaker with the Hall of Fame playmaker and the center he had chemistry with, or playing the young defenseman who really hasn’t done anything wrong more than 13 minutes every 3 or 4 games.

  11. I read this as all Kane and Tarasenko need to do is be open. Get open and a pass will make its way to you.

  12. Read this as “*Lions* at practice today for the Wings” and got excited. Like hell yeah, winning culture there for support and motivation!

But no, it’s just Gru gliding around instructing everyone on how to play the worst hockey imaginable.

  13. First two lines pretty okay

That third line is atrocious, I don’t know how you’re expecting any kind of offensive threat with those guys.

    Also 69th comment what up

  14. I’m convinced Kane and Tarasenko can only play with a real playmaker and a real shooter on their line. Their only visible strength at this point is being in the right place at the right time. So Kane, Larks, Cat top line. Second line Raymond, Kasper, Tarasenko. I don’t think we’ve seen this combo yet

  15. So Talbot reaggrivated his injury and will be out a spell, and Lyon won’t be back til mid next eeek at earliest….who’s getting the call Cossa or Campbell?

  16. I’ve been a Ras defender up until this year. Get that guy away from the top 6 please. I like that second line though.

  17. Didn’t Kane with Compher and Copp produce earlier in the season? If Kane can get them going why not do that? Berggren is probably an upgrade from Kane on the second line too.

  18. I’m ready to see the wings deal Kane. I feel like he’s checked out. Try and make a move and then let someone like Bergy get a chance on a higher role. I don’t see him resigning in Detroit next year so get him some exposure and maybe increase his trade value this year.

  19. I’m really worried about tomorrow. 50+ SOG? I’m sure the goalies are sweating. We’ve played not very good teams lately and look at the results. The Leafs are a good team.
