imma keep it real how did we even get a point lol
I think we may have had a better chance at winning if we got more than 16 shots on goal. Just a thought.
I think the honeymoon phase is over
We seem to be regressing to Bannister-era offense
Didn’t get to watch the full game. How was Fowler?
Great game Binner. Everyone else can walk home.
Faulk absolutely cannot allow himself to be beat wide on that play.
I’m usually a Faulk defender. But that was an inexcusable effort in OT there. Just let himself get skated around.
Can we not fucking suck ass tomorrow night? I actually will be at the game and don’t want a repeat of when I went to the home opener in October.
I just got home in time to turn the TV on and see Dallas celebrating…
Then I look at the stats and see only 16 SoG for the Blues. That is just a piss poor effort and it looks like Binner worked his ass off all night to steal a point.
Hard to be mad about that OT goal. Nice move, smooth mitts, purdy goal.
Fuckin’ way of the road, boys. Way she goes.
I’ll be there tomorrow; hopefully we remember to shoot at the goal 🥅
Jamie Benn throws his Zyn in the urinal
I always feel bad for Binner.
Thomas 6 for 21 on faceoffs. Is his wallet getting in the way? Doesn’t look like a #1 C, then lets his man go and watches him score.
This team is going to make an alcoholic out of me
Dallas is good. Getting a point is fine, the SOG is concerning
Posting these simply because Dallas is showing respect for once!
3 Stars of the Game:
⭐ – Binner
⭐⭐ – Robertson
⭐⭐⭐ – Duchene
I honestly don’t know what the takeaway from this is. Really odd to see the losing goalie as the first star of the game, but Dallas is showing some real respect.
Binnington gave them every chance to steal that one. Team just keeps letting him down. Stole a point they didn’t deserve at least. Get back on track tomorrow.
The continuing problem for the Blues is transitioning cleanly out of our end and through the neutral zone. In the second period, I seriously think we went 10 minutes without touching the puck inside the Stars’ blueline. It was all we could do just to get the center redline and dump it in. It’s frustrating, because (perhaps) the best puck-moving Dman in the organization has been banished to the press box. I’d rather see Perunovich in there over Suter, PO Joseph, or Faulk at this point.
Also, the hottest line on the team was broken up (Holloway-Sunny-Bolduc). Holloway can probably play great with just about anyone, but those 3 have a ton of chemistry, which is always very hard to replicate even with tons of skill. Quite frankly, Thomas doesn’t need a super talented forward to pass to; he just needs someone to win puck battles on the boards, make a short pass to him, then go to the net. I would rather put Texier, Joseph, or Toropchenko on the 1st line if we’re benching Saad than to break up the Holloway-Sunny-Bolduc line.
I hate it when the St. Louis Blues lose hockey games in overtime.
But, Binny played one hell of a game.
At least we got a point.
I love a coach who’s honest in his post game presser. He said we had a good first period, and Binner had a good second and third, you could tell he was pissed.
