Las Vegas Stadium Authority OKs Oakland A’s STADCO As Development Partner For Las Vegas Ballpark

Las Vegas Stadium Authority OKs Oakland A’s STADCO As Development Partner For Las Vegas Ballpark. Alexander “Sandy” Dean presents the case for the approval of the Oakland A’s STADCO, or “STADium Development COmpany” to the Las Vegas Stadium Authority on December 5th, 2024. The approval was swift.

What is “STADCO”? STADCO, or “STADium Development COmpany” is a legal definition that places a sports organization as the developer in charge of building their own stadium. It is hard to determine when the term STADCO, was first used as far as Zennie62Media, Inc. can tell. One possibility may be in the case of the Stadium Corporation of Ontario (Stadco), the provincial (public) agency that originally developed, owned and operated Toronto’s SkyDome.

At any rate, the Las Vegas Stadium Authority approved the Oakland A’s version of a STADCO for the Las Vegas Ballpark.

  1. Now all we need is 1B for a MlS stadium and that would be a top of the line stadium for mls. What do you think would be a good location for a mls stadium given that we know where all the rest are built or going to be built?
