  1. Proud of them! This was a game where they really proved themselves. Crap team with a goalie making his first career start. In the past, this is a team they would roll over on, but they fought hard and came thru in the end.

  2. Shout out to Pesce – So far just a constant rock. Yesterday got a couple apples and there for all 4 goals.

  3. Still can’t get over that incredible shift that led to the game winner. My living room erupted after that goal so I can only imagine what the Rock sounded like in person! That guy on twitter who hates Bratt must be in shambles this season so far and especially after that play lol

    Edit to add – I noticed when I watched it again that Jack skated over to the bench after his goal and seemed to acknowledge the previous line of Nico/Timo/Mercer for getting all that started in the first place. Love that.

  5. For anyone complaining that ‘good teams score more than 1 goal in two games’ after that leafs game, the defending Stanley cup champs just got shutout twice in a row. Shit happens

  6. Can we talk about the team limiting the opponent’s shots to less than 20 for the last 3 games.

    We limited the Kings to only 14 shots for the entire game. Kings played the Rangers last night and got 17 shots…in the 1st period.

    That’s winning hockey right there and feels like vintage 2000s Devils hockey right there.

  7. i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again

    If I’m choosing two players to start a franchise with, I’m choosing Jack and Jesper – sorry I don’t want dreary Drai or Connor McMild. J &J are the most exciting duo in the league to watch and only getting better. The chemistry is DIABOLICAL. They will win multiple cups if they stay healthy. Crosby and Malkin level success- that’s where they’re headed.
