  1. Blaming officiating accomplishes nothing. Im glad Wars and the players are taking accountability. Refs are gonna have a bad night. The players need to play well enough to take it out of the refs hands

  2. IMHO, that might be one of the best post game coach critiques I have seen. Warsofsky pointed out exactly why the Sharks lost plus he knew exactly what he could and could not say about the officiating and the response by the player RE the hit on Celebrini. Message to Mike Grier – I know they are increasingly hard to find, but go find a player who will dole out vigilante justice on anyone who “accidentally on purpose” cheap shots any of your stars, including Celebrini.

  3. "No comment" on officiating also means (by ambiguity), these guys were not doing their jobs fairly, and people are going to get hurt more than is reasonable if the refs don't do their job right. "I am disgusted beyond words" or "The refs heard what I had to say on the ice from the bench and you can check the real game audio when the children aren't listening" or "NHL fines coaches who publicly chastise and slam the refereeing because it is unprofessional, but I don't give a f….." Please Sheng keep asking hard questions as you never know what kind of answers you can get in the heat of the moment after a tense game. Maybe you could help this rookie coach by asking him to distinguish between "entertaining hockey" (what all fans want) and "winning hockey." Sharks must always play entertaining hockey but it takes work, luck and overwhelming talent to play winning hockey and even then it doesn't always happen. NHL coaches need a philosophy of losing as much as a philosophy of winning, and I think the point must be that every loss becomes another lesson in how to play harder.

  4. the sad truth, the league still sees Sharks as a garbage team, until they start winning consistently, this kind of officiating will continue, they just don't care

  5. Missed boarding on celebrini, high stick was raised by utah, sharks playing tackled on the rebound, Celebrini back checked into aref off a face off, and whatever else happened was atrocious. Im a fan, so I can and will blame the refs. What a travesty.

He is totally right about sharks players standing around waiting for someone else to play D and do their job. It was actually pathetic. What ever happened to to keeping your head on a swivel and being a man and blocking shots? Our D, especially Lunjigren, is awful. Celebrini is our best defensive player. Hes an absolute stud.

  6. We needed a fight last night. How come we didn't have someone fight after Celebrini took a header into the boards? Has hockey calmed down the last few years, cause I haven't been laying attention. Also, I don't see a lot of big hits nowadays.

  7. Warso is saying what we all have been feeling about the team this year – lots of games we have lost that we should have won. That killer instinct has been lacking . Tonight was a prime example of how the Sharks allow teams to own o-zone play especially late in games
