  1. Suggests to me that Allen will be out long enough that they need to actually start the backup a few times. Going with the veteran instead of the rookie.

  2. Daws looked pretty good his first few starts last year. I feel like the lack of real defense in front of him ended up derailing his promising start. I’d be interested to see how well he fares behind an actual defense.

  5. With a 33 and 34 year old goalie tandem, Daws will defiantly be part of near future. I know we rushed him once, hopefully he’s gotten the development he needs since then.

  6. I feel like this is just so Poulter can play in Utica instead of sitting on the bench until Allen is back; earliest we’re going to see the backup is probably in the Carolina back to backs in two weeks
