They are?
Too many question marks with the ONLY change being Terry Francona as the Manager? Well that fixes everything. We all know what BS means.
All the baseball analytical mumbo jumbo. Here is one, per Pete Rose, get runners to 2nd and 3rd. MOVE THEM. The only stat that counts is most runs wins. Score more runs than the opponent on that day. Not most hits, most strikeouts, most homers, steals, walks, extra base hits, who hits the longest homer, who has the most pitching velocity, even who commits the most errors, or makes the most above average plays or fastest runners. All those stats that players take into their contract negotiations. The Gold Glover. What a farce. Soto will get hundreds of millions but can strikeout five times and his team still can win.
Saw you last night on late night reds man (Steve) but we need to get outfielder starting to worry I see the rumors even the one bout pitcher out of Japan come on reds management do something
Reds gave the impression they were ready to wheel and deal and make big bold moves. All I see is the same old same old. Checking in, coming close, standing by while other teams pull off the deals, being creative, being patient. Make a deal for crying out loud.
You saw this will bellecheck! If the reds don’t get better guys they will lose 80-90 games with FRANCONA.
Guys. Reds are not ahead of the curve in anything. Maybe they are ahead of the curve in "checking in" on players.
Players go to where the most money is 99.99999999% of the time. It is just that simple.
Great show as always, guys! I wrote down very similar talking points about Terry and the merging of old school versus new school way of doing things for my first episode of my Reds Reality podcast coming up. I also very much agree with how you mentioned that it’s not a short term fix it needs to be a long-term fix in the OF and that if you go with Reese and Blake this year than something is very, very wrong.
They get that japanese pitcher and a bat for outfield and then they are ahead of the curve. Lol
Can’t believe, well, yes I can, the Reds are still screwing around with back up catcher. Go sign James McCann before he’s gone and get that position out of the way.
