  1. Although he was never able put it together on the field he was nothing but a class act his entire tenure with the chiefs. Always seemed like a great dude. No more GM Mahomes tho…

  2. Say what you want about who we definitely should’ve drafted instead, but CEH never cost us a game against the Broncos by dropping the ball as he crossed the goal line.

  3. Appreciate his services. While his career hasn’t gone as we intended, he made the plays we asked him too. I hope he can find the peace he deserves and an nfl roster spot if he wants to keep playing

  4. That is 2 time Superbowl champion and KC legend CEH. Much respect and appreciation to him. Hope he gets right mentally and enjoys life.

  5. CEH has been berated by many fans over the years. But we’ve been highly successful while he’s been on this team. They can’t all be superstars.

He seems like a good man and I wish him well.

  6. Just never clicked. We’ll always have that dope ass touchdown catch against the Patriots last season

  7. I feel really bad for this guy. PTSD is just horrifically unlucky to have as a person, let alone a top athlete that needs to stay in top shape. I can imagine that what happened at our parade this year was incredibly hard for him as well. Hope he finds peace some day and much love for his contributions to two Superbowls, even if he never met the expectations that came with his first round pick.

  8. 7 YPC in the Super Bowl but we only gave it him 9 times…he could have won that whole game for us. At least the run threat would have offered Mahomes some protection.

I’ve got nothing but love for the man. I know his performance on the field was up and down at times when he was here, but he stepped up when it mattered and was a hero to kids during the shooting earlier this year. I hope he continues to get all the support he needs for managing his PTSD.

Thanks for everything, Good Brother Clyde!

  10. Love CEH. Wish him well. Will always love that run he had against the Jags and trucked 7 dudes. Would not go down.

  11. Wish it would have worked out as I had hoped when we drafted him. Core member of some of the super bowl teams that I’ll remember years to come. Best of luck whatever is next for him.

  12. Will never forget his amazing game against the bills in 2020, the last time we beat them in the regular season.

  13. CEH wasn’t exactly what we wanted in a 1st round RB on the field but he is a man of high character and I wish him the best in his future endeavors.

  14. I remember his first touchdown thinking, “oh hell yeah we drafted a weapon”. Really wished he lived up to the first round hype, but wish him well.

  15. Sad to see this but I had a feeling this was going to happen.

I’m glad that Clyde got two Super Bowl rings with us and I wish the best for Clyde. He seems like a good man. I hope that he can take some time to spend with his family and take time to work on his mental health. PTSD is not something to ever take lightly.

  16. I feel like someone will give him a spot somewhere. Even if it’s just a PS spot at first. Seems like a good guy. Good luck to him.

  17. I don’t know why this makes me so sad, but it does. Never lived up to 1st round draft spot, but I weirdly do not care. I hope he finds peace and wholenesss.

  18. We needed the roster spot. They’ve been doing him a solid this season by allowing him to collect a few more checks, but the writing was on the wall.

  19. It’s sad. I’ve always felt he was not the player we needed, but, I have so much respect for him given how he helped protect that kid during the SB parade. Nothing but respect for him as a man. Good luck to CEH.

  20. He gonna end up on the Bengals watch Burrow played with him at LSU. But thanks CEH for everything to bad he didn’t turn out to be the guy we hoped he would be. But a solid contributer for KC when called upon.

  21. Am I nuts for thinking I’d rather have him than Carson Steele? I guess it’s possible CEH just won’t be able to play anytime in the near future though.

  22. So happy to see the kind comments about CEH here. He’s a human being first and foremost. I wish him the best fortune.

  23. Seems like a truly great person, and a good guy to have in the locker room and on the sideline.

Wish him all the best for his future, hope he can heal and grow through the trauma he endured.

At least he’s leaving with some jewelry a lot of players never get to touch.

  25. After watching The Pivot interview with CEH I have nothing but respect and love for him. He’s been through things the vast majority will never understand.

  26. All the people saying he wasn’t good anyway nd bla bla,he had some huge games for us in critical times! I hope he gets the help he deserves nd that he doesn’t end up on a shit team! Ty Clyde! 2time superbowl champ!

  27. CEH, all the best and good fortune sir. If your road leads to another team, I’ll be rooting for you (unless you’re playing KC or go to another AFCW squad—I don’t make the rules). Even if it doesn’t, thanks for the memories.

  28. I always liked him and never felt we used him well enough to help reach his potential. Too much run it up the middle and not enough catching ball in space and let him make a play, which is what he’s best at. Thanks, Clyde.

  29. He didn’t pan out like we wanted, but he’s a good dude, never had any drama, and was never a liability. Best wishes for Clyde, hopefully he gets feeling right again and gets another chance.

  30. I was all about this dude. Thought he could be Warrick Dunn like. Not a complete bust, but I whiffed on his comparison. Hope he gets another chance.

  31. I absolutely adore CEH, such a great locker room guy. Great sense of humor – Loved his videos with Jet and Pop last year. I’m bummed about this, but I get it too. We can’t just keep people for locker room unless they’re a coach.

I hope he finishes up his nursing degree and finds a way to blend that, his love for athletics and his great personality into an amazing future.
