  1. Finally a real one! Speaking facts! Generation talent. yeah generational alright, first 26 year old player who hasn't hit his prime yet and is already in decline in every other tool other then hitting or hitting for power, he is generational alright, most players are in decline past 30' mid 30's not mid 20's like Soto. Crazy and scary.

  2. Their first 6 years at the plate have been nearly identical. Soto has a few more hits and RBIs. Ohtani has a few more HRs. They're definitely not separated by "lightyears" at the plate, if they're separated at all.

  3. Who is this guy? Lmfaooo he will never be Soto a day in his life chipperdrone stop hating on latino players this show consistently hating on Soto go back to your cave Soto take teams to championships n deep runs in playoff something Yu canโ€™t do by yourself itโ€™s just in his aura stop HATIN

  4. Ted Williams played baseball in the early 1900 is that even real stats ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ they had plumbers n school teachers pitching in baseball letโ€™s be for real nobody ever threw 100 or 105 by those times I could never put a player as the best hitter with no footage no competition I seen the old school people stats they out of this world ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ will never happen in today pitching is way better this ainโ€™t basketball

  5. Grew up a Braves fan and die hard to this very day. Chipper was our Ronald Acuรฑa Jr growing up. I only wish he would get more involved with the Braves organization like be a hitting coach but I understand the man just wants to be Dad these days.

  6. soto ..there will alway be someone to replace soto production or even better than soto production..but shohei..it be hard for a long long long time for anyone can replace shohei production….elite bat and elite pitching..there has not been any to match shohei..that what generational play meant..ask yourself this question..who in the MLB doing what shohei is doing? Who in the MLB doing what soto is doing? I can name many player doing what soto is doing..but i can't name one player doing what shohei is doing in the MLB..enough say

  7. Have Chipper seen the stats Soto has before reaching after 26. Man is top 5 in almost all categories when it comes to hitting. That's what makes him generational. Also is a sign of how available he always is, while many other players get hurt which hurts their career stats.

  8. soto is a more clutch hitter then ohtani, ohtani is the goat though, alot like comparing lebron and jordan, lebron is the goat but jordan is a better scorer and more clutch

  9. Soto is a great hitter. Best hitter in years. That being saidโ€ฆas far as what he was going to be played he go the perfect storm right behind him to get him the best deal. He had judge hitting after him where he saw many pitches to hit. Or else with any other hitter in 2024, Soto would not have had those numbers. But again Soto took advantage of the situation.

  10. Larry is a generational hater here. Soto has played 5 games as a 26 year old thanks to the Yankees making the WS. He has 934 hits, 201 HR and 769 walks with less K's than walks. 300th all-time in BB before playing as a 26 year old and had a COVID shortened season.

Both Soto and Ohtani came in the league the same year and Soto has a higher BA, OBP and OPS. Ohtani is a better overall player but not hitter when one guy was has better numbers 19 years old to 25 and the other 23 to 30. Then Soto has kept his numbers in the playoffs with a.927 OPS and Ohtani hasn't in his lone playoff run with a .767 OPS
