Imagine if Barry Sanders sent you a signed jersey with a personal note, because he respects how well you play the Running Back position.

Like the pope getting a signed Bible from Jesus.
As a runningback, that has to be one of the best days of Saquons life. Receiving something personal like that, I can’t imagine how just insanely over the moon he must have been.
Still can’t believe he’s ours. He’s been everything promised and more.
Lions fans will never recover from this.
I think this is more him saying thank you for taking a better contract and showing how impactful and important the position really is, after being devalued the previous years

Honestly this may be more special to him than the MVP.
Just to put things in perspective about just how amazing this season has been for Saquon:
He’s already has the franchise record for most rushing yards in the season.
He already has the 39th most rushing yards in a season ever. There’s still three games left.
If he gets 140 yards against the Commanders, he’ll move up to 19th all time.
Another 140 against the Cowboys and he’ll have the 9th most rushing yards in a season all time.
Another 140 against the Giants and he’ll be #1. I know Dickerson did it in 16 games, but Saquon will likely do it with 30 fewer carries than Dickerson had.
Plus, it’s impossible to factor in the intangibles he brings to the team. His work effort, his ability to potentially change the game, and just being a solid team mate probably does wonders for the team chemistry and culture.
When I was a RB in college, Barry gave me an autograph too- but it wasn’t because I showed everyone how valuable I am. 😂
Mad respect…He should wear that jersey having into the game on Sunday!
