Chelsea will no doubt be keen to defend their 100% record and finish the Conference League group stages in style on Thursday night.

The Blues welcome Shamrock Rovers to Stamford Bridge, as one of the only other unbeaten sides in the competition so far this season.

Enzo Maresca will no doubt have one eye on proceedings in the Premier League at the moment, with them beginning to interject themselves in a title race.

The Chelsea Chronicle have predicted the side who will take on Shamrock at home on Thursday night.

Filip Jorgensen has been established as the cup goalkeeper at Chelsea right now, and he will begin between the sticks.

After a spell away from all action at Chelsea, Josh Acheampong will look to build on his excellent performance in his first start for the club with another Conference League appearance.

Axel Disasi has struggled for minutes despite some injuries in the squad of late, however he will begin in his natural position of centre-back.

His partner will be an out of position Renato Veiga, who is preparing for a huge game at the weekend against Everton in place of the suspended Marc Cucurella.

It will be the Spaniard beginning at left-back, with his fitness nothing to worry about ahead of his absence on Sunday.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is still without a Premier League start since joining Chelsea, although will continue his run of featuring in Europe.

He will be partnered by the very promising Samuel Rak-Sakyi, who was a shining light in the win over Astana.

Ahead of those will be Carney Chukwuemeka, who many believe is playing for his place in the Chelsea squad on a long-term basis right now.

Top scorer Christopher Nkunku will this time be playing off the right, as he continues to try and mount the pressure on Maresca to hand him a start.

The opposite wing will be occupied by Tyrique George, who has shown plenty of good signs in his minutes in Europe this season.

Up top, Marc Guiu will be looking to add to his three goals in the competition so far with another start.

Chelsea predicted XI vs Shamrock Rovers: Jorgensen; Acheampong, Disasi, Veiga, Cucurella; Dewsbury-Hall, Rak-Sakyi; Chukwuemeka, Nkunku, George; Guiu
