I’ve got Malone, Nash, Baylor, Ewing, Miller, Stockton and AI from the top of my head.
In recent memory Russ, Harden, CP3, PG
Patrick Ewing, poor guy couldn’t get past Jordan.
Highest peak players: AI, Nash, Tmac(biased because hes my favorite ever)
Best careers: Malone or Barkley
Probably malone as gross as he is
Carmelo Anthony
Pistol Pete
There are a lot of guys like chuck, Malone, cp3, Webber that are miles better than 2000s Russell Westbrook (though Russ is better) lol.
I have Barkley at 29th all time, CP3 at 30, Nash at 31, Harden at 32
Patrick Ewing.
It’s definitely AI, he is a remarkable influence on the way the game has changed, and was surrounded by mostly bums and still competed for a chip…Imagine if he had a really solid, second scoring star?
I’m sure he had good pieces, but all that comes to mind is Iguodala, before he got really good .
Elgin Baylor. Look it up. Pre stats legend. Guy would have had 1,000 double doubles if it was known as a thing.
Harden
Idk if best but some guys I wanna shoutout:
Dominique
Pistol Pete
Iceman
Baylor
Yao
Ewing
Off-court terrorism aside, Karl Malone handily. His career with a ring would probably regularly be in dark horse top ten convos.
I also want to shoutout Baylor, who is probably the unluckiest player ever. He just couldn’t get over the hump versus us and then injuries messed with his latter career.
He averaged 40/17/3 in the Finals on a peak Bill Russell Celtics which is insane lol.
So happy Al can’t be talked about on these anymore…
Outside the box answer I’m too young to be sure about: Mark Price
